Talia got a harmonica from the Candy Fairy and the first time (and every time since) she plays it, she does this crazy little dance. Random.

Daddy is helping Talia to eat as we have a living room picnic to celebrate the first colored meal in over a week! Talia had a nasty stomach bug and all she could eat was white, white, white foods.

Fundraisers Update

Been working on the adoption Family Profile book, applications and dealing with a sick child so been off the blog a few weeks.

The Grace UMC craft fair was slow, but I raised about $140.00. That was $140.00 more than if I was sitting around the house! I used that and some other checks I'd been saving from some interpreting jobs and opened a savings account. We have about $460.00 in that account. Also there have been two donations to the Green Blanket ChinIn fund, so that's an additional $75.00. I will be selling a few more things at a faculty craft show at Crayton next week. Crossing fingers!

First Fundraiser!

Brenda and I have a table at the Grace craft show tomorrow. Hoping the stuff I have will sell and we can make the first deposit into the adoption fund. Just set up a ChipIn widgit to count the funds we raise. People can donate right through the website, too. Now, that's technology!
