Aren't we the nice ones? After hearing a very loud and irritated bird, we saw this hawk. He/she was making this loud call every few seconds. In our attempt to find out what kind (red shouldered hawk) we inadvertantly began a love encounter. I found the type online and there was a file of its call. I played the sound this hawk makes and suddenly the hawk stopped making his love cry, since obviously he got a reply. He was quiet for so long, then eventually flew away.
